Ideal Conversion Kit Vogue S18ie Gen2 179572

The Ideal 179572 is an LPG to NG conversion kit for the Vogue S18ie Gen2 boiler. It is the kit used to change the appliance from liquefied petroleum gas operation over to natural gas operation, so the boiler matches the gas supply available at the property. The kit is supplied by Ideal for the Vogue S18ie Gen2 range and carries the alternative number 1782936.

Conversion work involves changing the gas-specific components so the burner and gas train are set for the new gas family, and the appliance data badge is updated to record the change. Once fitted, the boiler is commissioned and combustion readings are checked against the figures for the gas being supplied.

• The boiler is running on an LPG supply but the property has been switched to natural gas
• The data badge or commissioning record shows a gas category that does not match the supply
• Combustion readings fall outside the range expected for the gas being supplied
• Flame lift, yellow tipping or sooting at the burner
• Unstable ignition or repeated lockouts following a change of gas supply

• Confirm the appliance is a Vogue S18ie Gen2 and check the gas category on the data badge
• Quote part number 179572 when ordering; 1782936 is an alternative number for the same kit
• Check the appliance serial number against the compatibility list before ordering
