Ideal Sump Gasket 179448

The Ideal 179448 is a sump gasket manufactured by Ideal for the Ideal Commercial Instinct Heat range. It sits at the sump joint and forms a tight seal between the sump and the mating surface of the appliance, stopping water and condensate from escaping past the joint.

Gaskets of this type are consumable items. Heat cycling and long service compress and harden the material, so the seal is normally renewed whenever the sump is disturbed or whenever weeping appears at the joint.
