What it is
The Ideal 179306 is a complete hydroblock kit for the Logic Code Combi ESP1 range. The hydroblock is the hydraulic centre of a combi boiler: it carries the diverter valve, the domestic hot water and heating circuit connections, and the flow sensing components that tell the boiler when a hot tap is opened. Replacing the assembly as a complete kit restores correct switching between heating and hot water and renews the seals and waterways in one operation.

- No hot water while the heating continues to run, or hot water only when the heating is on
- Domestic hot water temperature swinging between hot and cold at the tap
- The diverter valve failing to move between heating and hot water positions
- Water weeping from the hydroblock body, seals or connection points
