Ideal Conversion Kit 179267

The Ideal 179267 is a conversion kit produced by Ideal for use on its domestic and commercial boiler ranges. It contains the components needed to adapt the appliance to the configuration the kit is intended for, and is listed against the Ideal Vogue C32 Gen2 and Ideal Commercial appliance groups. Conversion work of this type is carried out during commissioning or when an appliance is being set up for a different supply arrangement.

• The appliance will not run correctly on the supply it has been set up for.
• Combustion readings fall outside the expected range after a change of supply or configuration.
• Ignition or flame-establishment faults appear following conversion work.
• Commissioning cannot be completed because the correct conversion components are missing or damaged.
• A previously fitted kit shows signs of wear, corrosion or heat damage.

• Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the compatibility list, as the kit is listed for two specific Ideal appliance groups.
• Check the existing part number on the appliance before ordering, and cross-reference it with 179267 and 8904199.
• Check whether any gaskets or seals disturbed during the conversion need to be replaced at the same time.
