What it is
The Ideal DHW pack is an isolation valve assembly used on the domestic hot water side of the Vogue Gen2 combi boiler range. It allows the DHW circuit to be shut off at the appliance so that servicing, component replacement or pressure testing can be carried out without draining down the wider system. It is supplied by Ideal under part number 179235.

- Water weeping from the valve spindle or gland when the valve is operated
- Dripping or pooling around the valve body with the boiler running
- The valve handle or spindle is stiff, seized or will not turn fully
- Scale, corrosion or staining visible on the brass body or connections
