Ideal Gas Valve Kit 179139

The Ideal 179139 Gas Valve Kit is a replacement gas valve assembly for Ideal's Vogue Gen2 range and Ideal Commercial appliances. The gas valve regulates the flow of gas into the burner, opening and modulating supply in step with the boiler's demand signal, so it sits at the centre of safe combustion control. This kit is supplied by Ideal as the service replacement for the valve fitted across the listed Vogue Gen2 and commercial models.

• The boiler fails to light, with the ignition sequence running but no flame established.
• Flame is unstable, drops out shortly after ignition, or the boiler locks out repeatedly.
• Gas valve shows signs of leakage, contamination or physical damage around the outlet.
• Boiler output is erratic, with poor modulation or an inability to hold the set flow temperature.
• Fault codes relating to flame detection or gas supply appear on the appliance display.

• Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the compatibility list, as the same valve body is not shared across every Ideal range.
• Have the GC number and serial number from the appliance data badge to hand when checking the part.
• Check whether a gasket or seal is required for the valve joint on your specific appliance before starting the job.
