Ideal Side Panel Set Front 178044

The Ideal 178044 is a set of front side panels for an Ideal Commercial appliance. The panels form the outer casing of the unit, closing off the front and sides so the internal components are protected and the appliance presents a clean, finished face in the plant room or cupboard.

This is a casing component rather than a functional gas-carrying part, and it is listed by Ideal under part number 178044 with the alternative reference 4038818.

• Visible dents, creases or distortion across the front or side panels
• Rust staining, blistering or flaking paint on the panel surface
• Panels that no longer sit flush or clip squarely onto the casing frame
• Impact damage from tools, trolleys or other equipment in the plant room
• Corrosion along the panel edges or around fixing points

• Confirm your appliance model and serial number against the compatibility list, as casing panels differ between Ideal Commercial ranges
• Check the alternative numbers 1180727 and 4038818 against any documentation you hold for the appliance
• Inspect the existing fixings and seals around the casing before fitting, and replace any that are worn
