Ideal Filter Mesh HIU 177634

The Ideal HIU filter mesh, part number 177634, is a replacement strainer element for the hydraulic circuit of an Ideal heating interface unit (HIU). It sits in the water path and traps debris, scale particles and system sludge before they can reach the plate heat exchanger, control valves and other close-tolerance components downstream. The mesh is supplied under the Ideal Commercial parts range and is also listed against reference SATKF008.

• Reduced domestic hot water output or fluctuating temperatures at the tap
• Poor primary flow through the HIU, with the unit failing to reach setpoint
• Visible debris, scale or iron oxide build-up on the mesh when the housing is opened
• Blocked or partially restricted strainer causing repeated lockouts or flow faults
