What it is
The Ideal 177588 is a printed circuit board kit for Ideal Morco LPG combi appliances. It carries the control electronics that govern ignition sequence, flame supervision, fan and pump operation, and the safety interlocks on the GB30 range. It is the board assembly used when the original control PCB has failed and the appliance can no longer run through its start-up sequence correctly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The appliance fails to ignite, or locks out repeatedly with no obvious fuel or ignition fault
- A blank, dark or unresponsive control display
- The fan or pump runs continuously, or does not run at all, on a call for heat
- Intermittent fault codes that clear on reset and then return
- Erratic or unresponsive buttons and dials on the control panel
