Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler goes to lockout shortly after a call for heat, with the reset button needing repeated presses
- No ignition sequence at all when hot water or heating is demanded
- The fan, pump or gas valve does not run even though the appliance has power
- Intermittent operation, with the boiler cutting out mid-cycle and restarting without warning
- Visible damage on the board itself, such as scorching, burnt tracks or swollen capacitors
