What it is
The Ideal 177550 is a primary printed circuit board kit intended for Ideal I10 appliances. The primary PCB is the main control board, managing ignition sequencing, temperature regulation and the safety interlocks that keep the appliance running within its design limits. It is supplied under the Ideal Spares brand as a replacement control board.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The appliance fails to fire and drops into lockout with no mechanical fault evident elsewhere
- Fault or error codes appear on the control display and will not clear
- Heating or hot water output becomes intermittent, cutting in and out without a pattern
- The fan, pump or ignition sequence does not start when there is a call for heat
- The existing board shows scorching, heat damage, cracked solder joints or signs of moisture ingress
