Ideal Flue Gasket Double Lip Seal 100mm 177490

The Ideal 177490 is a flue gasket with a double lip seal, sized at 100 mm diameter. It seats at the flue connection on the appliance, where the twin sealing lips close against the mating surface to hold the joint gas-tight and stop flue products escaping into the room. It is supplied as an Ideal Spares component for the Evomax commercial range and other Ideal appliances listed in the compatibility data.

• Flue gas smell or combustion readings drifting at the flue joint on the appliance
• Visible cracking, hardening or flattening of the sealing lips
• Condensate staining, rust marks or water tracking around the flue connection
• Soot deposits or discolouration at the joint face
• The gasket lifting or sitting proud when the flue is refitted after servicing

• Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the compatibility list, as the same flue gasket is not used across every Ideal appliance.
• Check the flue spigot diameter measures 100 mm before fitting, since the seal is sized to that connection.
