What it is
The Ideal 177383 is a control knob with a blank potentiometer fitting, used on Ideal Logic and Logic Code combi boilers. It fits onto the control spindle at the boiler fascia so the user can turn and adjust the setting it operates. Ideal supplies it as a replacement knob for the models listed in the compatibility table.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The knob is cracked, split or has lost part of its body.
- The knob turns freely on the spindle without changing the setting.
- The splines or internal grip have worn, so the knob slips instead of driving the potentiometer.
