Ideal Ignition Bracket 176971

The Ideal 176971 is an ignition bracket for Ideal Vogue gas boilers. It mounts inside the combustion area and holds the ignition electrode at the correct distance and angle from the burner so the spark can jump reliably and light the gas.

Because the bracket sits close to the flame, it is exposed to repeated heat cycling. Distortion or corrosion here changes the electrode gap and is a common cause of ignition faults.
