What it is
The Ideal 176876 is a flow turbine rated for 40kW appliances, fitted in the domestic hot water circuit of Ideal Vogue C40 condensing boilers. Water passing through the turbine housing spins the rotor, and the resulting signal is read by the boiler's control board to confirm that a hot tap has been opened. On that signal the board starts the burner and modulates output to match the draw-off rate, so the turbine sits at the heart of reliable hot water production. It is supplied as an Ideal Spares component and is also listed under the spare part group flow regulators and governors.
