Ideal Gas Pack 176587

The Ideal 176587 Gas Pack is a packaged gas-side service component produced by Ideal for use on its commercial boiler appliances. It is catalogued alongside Ideal's domestic and commercial spares and is listed under the Ideal Commercial parts range. The pack carries the alternative number 1783109, which is useful when cross-referencing older stock or supplier listings.

Because it sits on the gas train, the pack is a service item rather than a routine wear part, and it is normally fitted during repair or overhaul work on the appliance's gas-carrying components. Correct identification of the appliance model and serial number before ordering is essential, as Ideal uses different gas-side assemblies across its commercial range.

• A gas leak indicated during a tightness test on the appliance gas train
• Visible perishing, cracking or flattening of seals and washers in the gas path
• The boiler failing to light, or lighting and then dropping out shortly afterwards
• Unstable or incorrect burner pressure readings that cannot be corrected by adjustment
• Gas-related fault codes logged by the appliance controls

• Confirm part number 176587 against your appliance model and serial number before purchase
• Note the alternative number 1783109 when cross-referencing supplier or stock records
• Check whether a separate gasket or seal kit is needed for your particular appliance
