What it is
This is an Ideal conversion kit that changes a commercial appliance from propane (LPG) operation to natural gas (NG). It is supplied by Ideal for use on the Evomax 60P and Instinct Heat 60P ranges, where the burner setup must match the fuel actually supplied to site. The kit contains the components needed to bring the appliance's gas train and combustion settings into line with natural gas.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The appliance is currently configured for propane but the site supply is natural gas.
- A fuel supply change has been made and the burner has not yet been converted to suit it.
- Combustion readings are outside the expected range for the fuel being supplied.
- The burner will not establish or hold a stable flame on the available gas supply.
- A conversion has been carried out previously without the correct manufacturer kit, leaving the gas train mismatched to the fuel.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the compatibility list, as the kit is specific to the 60 size.
- Check the existing data badge to establish which fuel the appliance is currently set for.
- Note the alternative part number 1782352 when cross-referencing older documentation or stock records.
