Ideal Combustion Chamber iCOMBI 30 176521

The Ideal 176521 is a combustion chamber built for the iCOMBI family of gas boilers. It surrounds the burner area and is designed to withstand sustained high temperatures during firing. The insulation inside the chamber holds heat from the previous cycle, so the boiler does not have to work as hard to reach the same output on the next start.

• The boiler takes noticeably longer to reach temperature from cold, or struggles to hold it once there.
• Heat is no longer retained between firing cycles, so the burner cycles more often than it used to.
• Visible cracking, distortion or crumbling of the chamber insulation on inspection.
• Soot deposits, discolouration or heat damage around the chamber and access flap area.
• Combustion readings drift outside the expected range and cannot be corrected by normal servicing.

• Check the existing part number on the unit; 1781980 is also used for this combustion chamber.
• This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
