What it is

The Ideal 176515 is an access flap kit covering the combustion chamber opening on Ideal Procombi Exclusive and Ideal Commercial appliances. The flap closes off the chamber access point so the combustion circuit stays sealed in normal operation, and it is removed by an engineer to reach the burner and heat exchanger during service and inspection. It is supplied by Ideal as a kit for the Procombi E range and is a gas-carrying appliance component.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The flap is cracked, warped or missing from the combustion chamber access point
  • Combustion readings become unstable or drift after servicing
  • Visible heat damage, corrosion or distortion on the flap and its fixings
  • The flap no longer seats correctly, leaving the access opening insecure
  • Staining or leakage traces around the combustion chamber cover
