The Ideal chip card kit is a control board assembly for Ideal Commercial appliances, supplied under part number 176422. The board sits at the centre of the boiler's control system, reading inputs from the sensors, thermostats and switches around the appliance and using them to govern ignition, modulation and shutdown. It also carries the safety logic that brings the boiler to a safe stop when a fault condition is detected.
