What it is

The Ideal 176377 is a condensate trap supplied for Ideal Commercial appliances. It sits on the condensate path from the flue, collecting the acidic water produced during combustion and holding a water seal that stops flue gases passing back into the drain. Over time the trap body, its internal passages and its seals can scale up, crack or block, which is when it needs replacing.
