What it is
The Ideal 175984 is an internal condensate hose supplied for Ideal Logic+ Heat appliances. It forms part of the condensate route inside the casing, moving condensate away from the heat exchanger and flue system towards the trap and the external drain. The hose is shaped to follow the internal routing of the Logic+ Heat range, so it sits correctly without kinking or trapping water.

- Water pooling inside the boiler casing or dripping from the base of the appliance
- Condensate backing up at the trap, causing gurgling, intermittent lockout or a condensate fault code
- Visible splits, cracks or perished rubber along the length of the hose
- White crystalline or chalky deposits around the hose ends and connections
- A joint that has hardened or lost its seal, allowing condensate to weep onto internal components
