What it is
The Ideal 175935 is a primary printed circuit board kit for the Ideal Logic, Independent and i-mini boiler families. It is the main control board, handling sensor inputs, ignition sequencing, fan and pump control, and the boiler's safety lockout logic. The board is supplied as a kit rather than a bare PCB.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to fire, or locks out repeatedly with no fault found in the ignition components
- A blank, dim or erratic display on the boiler fascia
- The fan, pump or gas valve is not being driven even though each component tests correctly
- Intermittent lockouts or error codes that clear on reset and then return
- Visible scorching, burn marks or swollen capacitors on the existing board
