Ideal Wiring Harness Mains Installation 175905

The Ideal 175905 is a mains installation wiring harness — the lead set that carries the 230 V mains supply into the boiler and connects it to the appliance's control and terminal block. It is manufactured by Ideal for use across the Independent range and selected Ideal Commercial appliances. The harness is supplied as a complete assembly so the mains feed, earth continuity and internal connections are replaced together rather than re-terminated individually.

• Boiler completely dead with no display or fan response, despite a confirmed live mains supply at the isolator
• Intermittent power loss or the boiler dropping out when the appliance or its cable is disturbed
• Scorched, discoloured or brittle insulation on the mains lead or at the plug-in connector
• Loose, corroded or heat-damaged terminals at the boiler mains inlet, causing arcing or a tripping RCD
