Ideal Return Pipe Kit Prefix XF or Later 175399

The Ideal 175399 is a return pipe kit used on Ideal Esprit 2 and Evo HE condensing boilers. It forms the pipework run that carries water returning from the heating circuit back into the appliance, feeding the heat exchanger on the return side of the system. The kit is specified for appliances carrying the XF prefix or a later build prefix.

• Water weeping or dripping from the return pipe joints or connections
• Visible corrosion, scale build-up or rust staining on the pipe surface
• System pressure falling repeatedly, requiring regular topping up
• Damp patches, water marks or staining on the casing or floor beneath the boiler
• Kettling, gurgling or knocking noises coming from the return side of the appliance

• Check the boiler's GC number against the compatibility list to confirm the correct variant
• Confirm the appliance carries the XF prefix or a later build prefix, as earlier builds use different pipework
• Inspect the existing seals and washers before fitting and replace any that are disturbed during removal
