What it is
The Ideal 800 long front side panel is a casing assembly that forms the outer front-facing side section of the boiler enclosure on Ideal 800 and Ideal Commercial Viscount GTS appliances. It shields the internal components from dust, knocks and accidental contact while giving the appliance its finished appearance. The panel is supplied as a complete casing section and is identified by Ideal part number 175156, with 200007426 as an alternative number.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Dents, creases or distortion in the panel that stop it sitting flush against the chassis
- Rust or corrosion along the folded edges, seams or fixing points
- Flaking or discoloured paintwork that leaves bare metal exposed
- Elongated or torn fixing holes, so the panel no longer pulls up tight
- Panel damage sustained during a service visit or while moving the appliance
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the compatibility list before ordering.
- Check the part number on the existing panel, or cross-reference alternative number 200007426.
- Inspect the panel fixings and any seals around the casing and renew them if they are worn or missing.
- This is not a gas-carrying component.
