What it is

The lower front panel is the casing assembly that closes off the lower front of the appliance, forming the outer skin around the combustion and control area. It is manufactured by Ideal for the Concord ESi 380 commercial range and is supplied under part number 175075. The panel carries the alternative number 83588955, which is also the previous number for the same item.

As a casing component it protects the internal assemblies from knocks and general site debris while giving the appliance its finished appearance. Because it is a removable panel rather than a structural part of the heat exchanger or burner assembly, it can be taken off and refitted during servicing and inspection work.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible cracking, splitting or deformation of the panel
  • Corrosion or rust staining along the panel edges or fixing points
  • The panel no longer sits flush, leaving gaps around the lower front of the casing
  • Fixing holes or mounting lugs broken away so the panel cannot be secured
  • Impact damage from tools, trolleys or site traffic during installation work

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and serial number against the compatibility list, as casing panels differ between Concord variants
  • Check the part number on the existing panel or in the appliance documentation before ordering
  • Note the alternative number 83588955, which may appear on older paperwork or labels
  • Work on the appliance casing should be carried out by a competent engineer, with the appliance isolated and made safe before panels are removed
