What it is

The Ideal 175021 is the main wiring harness used on Ideal Commercial Concord ESi condensing appliances. It is the primary electrical loom inside the casing, carrying the connections between the control board and the appliance's sensors, fan, gas valve and other electrical components. Because it is the main harness rather than a single sub-lead, it is the assembly that ties the appliance's electrical system together.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The appliance fails to fire, or locks out intermittently with no mechanical fault evident
  • The control board loses power or resets at random during operation
  • Visible chafing, scorching or brittle insulation anywhere along the loom
  • Loose, corroded or heat-damaged multi-plug connectors at the board or component ends
  • Fault codes indicating a lost signal from a sensor, the fan or the gas valve

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the compatibility list, as Concord ESi variants do not all share the same loom.
  • Compare the replacement harness with the original routing and plug layout before fitting.
  • Isolate the electrical supply and work to the manufacturer's wiring diagram when swapping the harness.
  • Inspect any gaskets or seals disturbed during the repair and renew them if they are no longer serviceable.
