What it is
The Ideal 174607 is an oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) oxypilot assembly made by SIT. It is the pilot unit that provides ignition and flame supervision on Ideal gas appliances, proving the pilot flame is present and shutting the gas supply down if the flame is lost or oxygen levels in the room fall. The assembly carries the ODS probe together with the pilot burner and electrode.
