The Ideal 174445 is a return manifold manufactured for the Imax Xtra range of commercial boilers. It sits on the return side of the appliance's water circuit, collecting water coming back from the heating system and distributing it evenly across the boiler's waterways before it re-enters the heat exchanger. As a serviceable casting, it is replaced when the original develops leaks, corrosion or flow restrictions that cannot be cleaned up in situ.
