What it is
The condensate drain hose is a flexible hose that carries condensate away from the boiler's condensate trap to the drainage point. This one is supplied by Ideal for the Ideal Commercial Imax Xtra range of commercial boilers. It forms part of the condensate removal path, so a sound hose is needed to keep the boiler draining correctly and running without a condensate-related lockout.

- Water or condensate collecting under the boiler or around the condensate trap
- Visible cracking, splitting, hardening or perishing along the hose
- Damp staining or drips traced to the hose run rather than the trap or pipework
- Boiler locking out or showing a condensate-related fault code
- Hose pulled loose, kinked or disconnected at either end
