The Ideal 174134 is an orifice plate kit that forms part of the burner assembly on Ideal Icos HE and Mexico HE gas boilers. The orifice plate sits in the gas train ahead of the burner and meters the gas flow, so the appliance receives the input rate it was set up for. It is a serviceable item, replaced when the plate is contaminated, damaged or when combustion readings cannot be brought back into tolerance.
