Ideal Gasket Kit MEX HE 30/36 174096

The Ideal 174096 is a servicing gasket kit for the Mexico and Icos boiler ranges. It contains the o-rings, gaskets and washers used at joints throughout the appliance, sealing components to pipework and to each other. These seals are relied on at heat exchanger and gas valve connections, where they stop water and gas escaping from the joint.

• Water weeping or staining at a joint around the heat exchanger or connecting pipework
• A gas smell, or a leak indicated at a gas valve joint during a tightness test
• Seals that look flattened, hardened or cracked once a joint is opened
• Repeated pressure loss with no obvious system leak elsewhere
• Damp residue at a joint that returns shortly after the fitting is tightened
