Ideal Burner Gasket Mexico HE 30/36 174093

The Ideal 174093 is a burner gasket that seals the joint between the burner and its mounting face on Ideal Mexico HE and Icos HE appliances. The burner is the point at which the gas/air mixture is ignited to produce the heat that is passed to the main heat exchanger, so the joint around it has to remain gas-tight and heat-resistant for the life of the part. This gasket is a direct replacement item for the original factory fitment.

• The gasket is cracked, brittle or has flattened out of shape
• Soot, staining or heat marking around the burner mounting face
• Combustion readings drifting, or CO/CO2 figures outside the expected range at the flue
• A smell of gas or combustion products close to the burner area
• The gasket crumbles or splits as the burner is lifted away during a service

• Confirm the model name matches one of the Mexico HE or Icos HE variants listed above
• Burner gaskets are a single-use item, so a replacement should be fitted whenever the burner is disturbed
