What it is
The Ideal 174079 is a lower front panel supplied as a painted kit for Ideal Mexico HE series boilers. It forms the lower section of the appliance casing, closing off the front of the boiler below the main upper panel and giving the finished, painted outer face of the appliance. As a casing component it also protects the internal components behind it from dust and accidental contact.

- Visible corrosion or rust staining along the lower edge of the panel
- Paint flaking, blistering or discolouration on the front face
- Dents, creases or distortion that stop the panel sitting flush against the casing
- Panel no longer clips or fastens securely, leaving a gap at the front of the boiler
