What it is
The Vokera 1734 is a heating by-pass valve used on Vokera Eclipse gas boilers. It sits within the boiler's isolation valve group and controls flow around the heating circuit. It is listed for the Eclipse 216 ESS, 226 ESS and ESC models.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler short cycling or failing to hold a steady flow through the heating circuit
- Overheating or lockout symptoms linked to restricted by-pass flow
- Water weeping from the valve body or its connections
- A valve that no longer adjusts or responds to setting changes
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model matches one of the Eclipse models listed
- Check the existing valve's part number or the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
- Verify the GC number on the boiler data badge against your model's listing
