What it is
The Ideal body insulation is a six-section insulating jacket that wraps the boiler body of Ideal Commercial Harrier appliances. It is supplied by Ideal as a direct replacement for the original insulation fitted at manufacture, and carries part number 173392. Its role is to hold heat inside the body sections rather than letting it radiate into the casing and the surrounding plant room, which keeps surface temperatures down and reduces standing losses between firing cycles.
