The Ideal 173388 is a base frame supplied as a casing assembly for 7-section Fd33 commercial boilers. It forms the lower structural mounting for the heat exchanger and casing on Ideal Commercial Harrier appliances, holding the sections and the surrounding panels in correct alignment. As a load-bearing component it also carries the weight of the boiler assembly and keeps the gas train and flue connections sitting square.
