What it is
The Ideal 173136 is an air pressure switch rated at 1 38Mbr, used on a number of Ideal domestic and commercial boiler ranges. It senses the pressure generated by the combustion fan and signals the control board that air flow has been established, allowing the ignition sequence to proceed. A failed switch typically stops the boiler from firing or causes it to lock out shortly after the fan starts.
