Ideal Flexible Hose 1000mm 172941

The Ideal 172941 is a flexible hose measuring 1000mm in length, supplied as a spare for Ideal commercial heating appliances. It forms part of the internal pipework on the Buccaneer GTE and GTE4 ranges, where a flexible connection is needed to bridge fixed pipe runs without imposing stress on the joints. The hose is listed under the hoses and pipes part group.

• Visible cracking, perishing or surface damage along the hose body
• Weeping or damp patches at the hose end connections
• Loss of pressure in the appliance circuit that traces back to the hose
• Stiffness or kinking that restricts flow through the connection
• Corrosion or staining at the crimped end fittings

• Confirm the appliance model and, where available, the serial number against the compatibility list before ordering
• Check the existing hose length and end fittings match the 1000mm item listed here
• Note the alternative part number 1179183 when cross-referencing older documentation
