What it is
The Ideal 172892 is a right-hand side panel that forms part of the casing assembly on Ideal Commercial Buccaneer appliances. It closes off the right-hand face of the four-section casing, enclosing the heat exchanger and internal components while contributing to the structural envelope of the appliance. The panel is listed under part type casing assembly and carries the previous number 85758806.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Corrosion or perforation along the panel edges, seams or fixing points
- Impact damage or dents that stop the panel sitting flush against the casing frame
- Distortion that prevents the casing from closing squarely or seating correctly
- Breakdown of the surface coating or heavy rust on a panel still in service
- Fixing holes torn or elongated so the panel no longer secures properly
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and serial number against the compatibility list before ordering
- Check the number on the existing panel — 85758806 is the previous number for this item
- Inspect the casing fixings and any seals around the panel while access is available
- Match the panel to the correct side and casing section, as this item is the right-hand panel for four-section casings
