What it is
This is a complete control panel assembly supplied by Ideal for its Commercial Buccaneer range. It forms the mounting and support structure for the appliance's control panel, holding the controls and fascia in position on the casing.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The control panel no longer sits square or secure against the casing
- Cracks, distortion or corrosion in the panel support or its mounting points
- Fixing holes or lugs have broken away, leaving the panel loose
- Controls or fascia have become misaligned with the panel opening
- Visible heat or impact damage to the panel structure
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the compatibility list, as the assembly is shared across several Buccaneer variants
- Check the existing part number on the appliance, as 85758945 and 1179133 may be marked on older units
- Inspect any seals, gaskets or fixings removed during the job and replace them if they are perished or damaged
- Isolate the appliance from the electrical supply before removing or refitting the control panel
