What it is
The Ideal 172859 is a complete four-section boiler body assembly, supplied as a single unit for the Ideal Commercial Buccaneer range. It forms the main heat exchanger body of the appliance, where the combustion gases pass through the sections and transfer heat into the water circuit. Because it is supplied complete, the body arrives as a matched four-section assembly rather than as individual castings.

- Corrosion, scale build-up or pitting on the cast sections
- Cracks or hairline fractures in the body casting
