Ideal Flow Group Kit BI1141 502 172510

The Ideal 172510 flow group kit is a diverter valve assembly supplied by Ideal for its combi boiler range. In a combi boiler the diverter valve is the component that decides where the heated water goes: either around the central heating circuit to the radiators, or through the domestic hot water section to the taps. The kit is listed under Ideal's diverter valves and hydraulics group and carries the reference BI1141 502.

• Hot water runs hot then cools while the tap is still open, or the boiler struggles to hold a steady DHW temperature.
• Radiators stay cold when only hot water is being drawn, or heat up when the hot tap is running.
• The boiler fires for heating but the flow pipe stays cool, pointing to a diverter stuck in the hot water position.
