What it is
The insulation retaining angle is a formed metal strip used on Ideal Commercial Concord appliances to hold the appliance insulation panels firmly against the casing and heat exchanger surfaces. It is supplied by Ideal under part number 172314 and carries the previous number 8358-8211. The angle keeps the insulation in its correct position so the panels continue to do their job of reducing heat loss and protecting surrounding components.
