What it is
The Ideal 172301 is a complete front support assembly used on Ideal Commercial Concord appliances. It forms part of the casing arrangement, holding and locating the front panel so the combustion cover sits square and seals correctly against the appliance body. The assembly is supplied as a complete unit rather than as individual brackets or fixings.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The front support is cracked, bent or corroded, so the casing panel will not sit flush.
- Fixing points or mounting lugs have snapped off, leaving the front panel loose.
- The casing panel rattles or vibrates in service because the support no longer holds it square.
- Distortion or heat damage around the support, making panel alignment difficult after servicing.
- The support has been removed and the original is too deformed to refit correctly.
