The Ideal 172277 is a complete pilot bracket assembly supplied by Ideal for use in its commercial gas appliances. It carries and locates the pilot burner so the pilot flame sits in the correct position relative to the main burner, allowing ignition to take place reliably during each demand for heat. The bracket is listed under the pilot burner spare part group and is used across the Ideal Commercial Concord ES range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The pilot flame fails to establish or will not stay lit once the ignition sequence ends.
- Repeated lockouts on start-up, with the appliance cycling through ignition without firing the main burner.
- A weak, yellow or lifting pilot flame that no longer plays on the flame sensing point correctly.
- Visible heat damage, corrosion or distortion on the bracket where it holds the pilot burner.
- Sooting or discolouration around the pilot area, suggesting the burner is no longer sitting in its correct position.
