What it is
The Ideal 172274 is a blue suppressor lead supplied for Ideal Commercial Concord appliances. It sits on the ignition circuit and damps the radio frequency interference produced when the spark igniter fires, keeping electrical noise away from the appliance's control electronics and from nearby radios, televisions and intercoms. Ideal lists it as a serviceable spare for the Concord ES range.
