Ideal Flange 1 1/2 Inch Tapping 172232

The Ideal 172232 is a 1 1/2 inch flange with a tapped connection, used to join pipework to the appliance on Ideal Commercial Concord boiler installations. It is a manufacturer-supplied component for the Concord ES380/H and ESi 380 CPT range, where it forms part of the flow and return pipework connection at the boiler casing.

The flange bolts to the appliance connection point and provides a threaded tapping for the pipework to screw into, giving a serviceable joint that can be broken and remade during maintenance or appliance replacement.

• Water weeping from the flange joint or around the tapping, particularly under pressure or when the appliance is running
• Visible corrosion, pitting or scale build-up on the flange face or threads
• A distorted or scored flange face that will not pull down and seal against the mating surface
