Ideal Top Insulation 172191

The Ideal 172191 is a top insulation panel supplied for Ideal Commercial Concord boiler appliances. It is the shaped insulating component that sits at the upper section of the appliance, where it limits heat loss from the hot parts of the boiler and shields adjacent components and casing panels from prolonged heat exposure.

Insulation of this type is a serviceable item rather than a moving part. It degrades through heat cycling and physical handling, so it is normally replaced when the top section of the boiler is opened for repair or when the original material has broken down.
